Privacy Policy
Last Updated: February 15, 2025
At WiseFluxHub, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you interact with our services. We're based in South Korea and operate under both local and international privacy standards.
We believe transparency builds trust. That's why we've written this in plain language—no legal jargon that requires a law degree to understand.
What Information We Collect
Information You Give Us Directly
When you sign up for our business analysis services or contact us, you share certain details with us. This typically includes your name, email address, business information, and phone number. If you're enrolling in our learning programs, we'll also collect educational background and professional experience.
Data Type | Purpose | Retention Period |
---|---|---|
Contact Information | Communication and service delivery | Duration of service + 3 years |
Business Data | Analysis and consultation services | 5 years as per South Korea business records law |
Payment Information | Transaction processing | 5 years (tax compliance requirement) |
Learning Progress | Program delivery and certification | 7 years (educational records) |
Information We Collect Automatically
Like most websites, we collect some data automatically when you visit. This includes your IP address, browser type, device information, and how you navigate through our site. We use this to improve user experience and understand which content resonates with visitors.
We don't use invasive tracking. We rely on basic analytics that help us see patterns—like which pages get the most attention or where people tend to drop off. This helps us make the site better for everyone.
How We Use Your Information
We're not in the business of selling your data. Everything we collect serves a specific purpose related to providing you with quality service.
- Service Delivery: We use your information to provide the business analysis and educational services you've requested. Pretty straightforward.
- Communication: We'll contact you about your account, program updates, or respond to your inquiries. We might occasionally send relevant updates about new services, but you can opt out anytime.
- Improvement: Your usage patterns help us understand what's working and what isn't. This informs how we develop new features and refine existing ones.
- Legal Compliance: Sometimes we're required by South Korean law to maintain certain records, particularly for financial and educational services.
- Security: We monitor for suspicious activity to protect both your account and our systems from unauthorized access.
We will never sell your personal information to third parties. This isn't a revenue stream for us, and it never will be.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
We keep your information within our organization whenever possible. But there are a few situations where we need to share limited data with trusted partners.
Service Providers
We work with carefully selected third-party providers for specific functions—hosting infrastructure, payment processing, and email communications. These providers only receive the minimum data necessary to perform their specific function and are contractually bound to protect your information.
Legal Requirements
If we're legally required to disclose information by South Korean authorities or courts, we'll comply. We'll notify you when possible, unless prohibited by law.
Business Transfers
Should WiseFluxHub be involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. You'll be notified of any such change and how it affects your data.
Your Rights Under South Korean Law
South Korea's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) gives you substantial control over your data. Here's what you can do:
- Access: Request a copy of all personal information we hold about you. We'll provide this within 10 business days.
- Correction: If your information is inaccurate or incomplete, you can request corrections. We'll update our records promptly.
- Deletion: Ask us to delete your personal data. We'll comply unless we're legally required to retain it.
- Processing Restriction: Request that we temporarily stop processing your data while we verify accuracy or assess your objections.
- Data Portability: Get your data in a structured, commonly used format that you can transfer to another service.
- Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes.
- Withdraw Consent: If processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it anytime. This doesn't affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@wisefluxhub.com. We'll respond within 10 business days as required by PIPA.
Data Security Measures
We take security seriously because your trust depends on it. Our approach combines technical safeguards with organizational policies.
Technical Protections
All data transmission uses industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3). Stored data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. Our servers are hosted in secure facilities with restricted physical access, redundant systems, and regular security audits.
Access Controls
Only authorized personnel can access personal data, and only when necessary for their specific job function. We use multi-factor authentication for all administrative access and maintain detailed logs of who accesses what and when.
Regular Assessments
We conduct quarterly security reviews and annual third-party audits. When vulnerabilities are identified, we address them immediately. Our team stays current with evolving security threats and adjusts our practices accordingly.
That said, no system is completely invulnerable. If a breach occurs that affects your data, we'll notify you within 24 hours as required by PIPA and explain what happened, what we're doing about it, and what you should do.
Data Retention and Deletion
We don't keep data longer than necessary. Retention periods depend on the type of information and legal requirements.
Standard Retention Periods
Account information remains active as long as you maintain an account with us. After account closure, we retain basic records for three years to handle any disputes or inquiries that might arise.
Business analysis data is retained for five years as required by South Korean business record-keeping laws. Educational records, including certifications and course completion data, are kept for seven years to maintain institutional records and verify credentials.
Deletion Process
When data reaches the end of its retention period, we permanently delete it from our active systems. Backup copies are removed during our next scheduled backup rotation, typically within 30 days.
If you request deletion before the standard retention period ends, we'll comply unless legal obligations require us to maintain certain records. In those cases, we'll restrict processing to the minimum necessary for compliance.
International Data Transfers
Our primary operations and data storage are in South Korea. However, some service providers we use may process data in other countries. When this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
We only work with providers in countries recognized by South Korea's Personal Information Protection Commission as having adequate data protection standards, or where we've implemented additional contractual protections.
If you're accessing our services from outside South Korea, your information will be transferred to and processed in South Korea. By using our services, you acknowledge this transfer.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We're transparent about what we track and why.
Essential Cookies
These are necessary for the site to function properly. They handle session management, security features, and basic functionality. You can't disable these without breaking core features.
Analytics Cookies
We use analytics to understand how people use our site. This is aggregated data—we're looking at patterns, not tracking individuals. You can opt out of analytics tracking through your browser settings or our cookie preferences.
Third-Party Cookies
We don't allow third-party advertising cookies on our site. Any third-party cookies come from essential service providers like payment processors and are limited to what's necessary for those services to function.
Children's Privacy
Our services are designed for business professionals and are not intended for children under 14. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you're a parent and believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately and we'll delete it.
Under PIPA, collection of personal information from children under 14 requires parental consent. We don't have mechanisms for obtaining such consent because our services aren't designed for this age group.
Changes to This Policy
We update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email and provide a prominent notice on our website.
The "Last Updated" date at the top shows when the most recent changes took effect. We encourage you to review this policy periodically, especially before providing us with new information.
If you disagree with changes to this policy, you can close your account. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
