Platform Technical Specifications
Our analytics platform works across most modern systems. You don't need the latest hardware. What matters more is having stable internet and a browser that hasn't been gathering dust since 2019.
Operating System
Pretty much any OS from the last five years works. We've tested extensively across different environments.
- Windows 10 or later
- macOS 11 Big Sur onwards
- Ubuntu 20.04 or newer
- Chrome OS (recent versions)
Browser Requirements
Modern browsers handle our dashboard smoothly. If you're still using Internet Explorer, though, we need to talk.
- Chrome 100+ (recommended)
- Firefox 95+
- Safari 15+
- Edge 100+ (Chromium)
Connection Specs
You don't need fiber optic speeds. A stable connection matters more than raw bandwidth for our real-time features.
- Minimum 5 Mbps download
- 2 Mbps upload preferred
- Latency under 100ms ideal
- WiFi or ethernet both work
Hardware Basics
Most laptops from 2020 onwards handle everything fine. Heavy data visualization needs a bit more muscle.
- 4GB RAM minimum (8GB better)
- Dual-core processor or higher
- 1280x720 display resolution
- Keyboard and pointing device
Security Setup
Standard security practices keep your data protected. We use encryption, but your firewall shouldn't block our API endpoints.
- HTTPS access required
- Allow websocket connections
- Port 443 must be open
- Cookies enabled for sessions
Mobile Access
Dashboard works on tablets and phones. Some advanced features are easier on larger screens, but basic monitoring works anywhere.
- iOS 14+ or Android 11+
- Mobile browsers supported
- Responsive design adapts
- Touch gestures enabled

Real-World Performance Notes
We've spent considerable time testing across different setups. A corporate laptop from 2021 runs our platform just as smoothly as a high-end workstation. The difference shows up when you're processing thousands of transactions simultaneously or generating complex visual reports.
Most small businesses find that standard office hardware handles everything they need. If you're analyzing data for multiple locations or running predictive models, you might want 16GB RAM and a newer processor. But for daily operations and standard reporting, the baseline specs work fine.
Browser choice matters less than you'd think. Chrome tends to handle large datasets slightly faster, but Safari and Firefox users report no practical differences in everyday use. What trips people up more often is outdated browser versions or aggressive ad blockers interfering with dashboard elements.

Systems IntegrationTesting across different environments taught me that stable internet beats fast hardware almost every time. We've had clients with older machines run circles around newer setups simply because their connection was reliable.

Performance AnalysisThe platform adapts to what you're working with. I've seen it run on five-year-old laptops without breaking a sweat. Resource usage stays reasonable even during peak analysis periods.

Technical SupportMost technical issues come down to browser extensions or firewall configurations. Once those are sorted, the platform runs consistently across different hardware setups and operating systems.
